NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — At the corner of Center and 19th Streets in Coal Township, it's hard to miss the massive Christmas Display set up. The annual Christmas display has been going on every year for almost three decades. It was started by the Dunn family, who live right across the street.
"I think the first year, my mom, I have two older brothers, and my oldest brother was three years old, and he liked Sesame Street at the time, and my mom wanted to do Sesame Street, and after that, they just brought it over here, and it's grown ever since," said Kelsee Dunn, Tharptown Christmas Display.
The Dunns say many of the Christmas blow molds in the display they find are from yard sales, but they are also hard to come by these days, as they have grown in popularity. Scott Dunn is the artis
