Man from Tecumseh voices walrus character in 'Zootopia 2'

David VanTuyle, a Disney artist who grew up in Tecumseh, supplied the voice of Russ the walrus during internal studio screenings of "Zootopia 2."

"I thought it was always a temporary thing," he says, but writer and co-director Jared Bush had other ideas.

VanTuyle is also the co-head of story and a storyboard artist for the film.
