Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) erupted Wednesday at right-wing personality Mike Cernovich over her decision to resign from Congress early.

Greene, a once staunch MAGA loyalist who clashed with President Donald Trump for weeks, announced Friday that she would step down from her House seat on Jan. 5, 2026. In a more than 10-minute video posted on X, Greene detailed how she did not want her district to “endure a hurtful and hateful primary against me” by the president — all while she expects the GOP to likely lose ground during the 2026 midterms .

“And in turn, be expected to defend the President against impeachment after he hatefully dumped tens of millions of dollars against me and tried to destroy me,” Greene continued in the video.
