GRETNA, La. — Five people were taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Wednesday morning in Gretna, according to the Gretna Police Department.

Authorities said the individuals were detained at Home Depot on the Westbank. They reported one person ran from agents and the police department assisted.

Home Depot sent a statement to WWL Louisiana.

Gretna Police says it did not file any charges in this incident.
