SILVER SPRING, Md. — A death investigation by the Montgomery County Department of Police revealed that two people died on Wednesday along the 1100 block of University Boulevard in Silver Spring.
When first responders arrived just before 1 p.m., they found a man outside the 21-story apartment building. Officials say he jumped from the high-rise.
Inside the building, first responders found a woman in a hallway unresponsive. They attempted life-saving measures, but were unsuccessful.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene. They have both been transported to the medical examiner's office to determine the cause of death.
The identities of the victims have not been made public at this time. Police are investigating this as a "murder/suicide".
