SHREVEPORT, La. - It's snowing in Shreveport!

Well, not real snow. The Shreveport Downtown Development Authority hosted its first snow surprise pop-up as part of a season-long celebration, "Santa Calls You Downtown."

Shreveport DDA is hosting a season packed with fun events, lights, and more festive surprises. See what’s happening next on their holiday calendar .

"We will be holding multiple surprise snowball rolls around downtown and different locations," said Shreveport DDA Marketing Manager Lauren Davidson. "So if you follow along on our social media, you will see our announcement. We'll usually tease that the day before in the morning as well. So you know where there is a 100 percent chance of snow downtown."
