Surveillance video captured the moment when a pedestrian was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Tamarac and then struck by another vehicle as he lay on the street.
According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, on Saturday at around 11:56 p.m., a man was crossing the Southbound lanes of North State Road 7, near the 500 block, when the driver of a silver Toyota Camry that was traveling southbound struck the man.
After the man was struck, he fell on the street, and then soon after, a Black Sedan "traveled over the pedestrian" and kept driving, deputies said.
In the surveillance video, the driver of the Camry was seen parking his vehicle at a Shell gas station, getting out and then going to where the man was struck.
