Duluth's holiday attraction Bentleyville is closed on Wednesday following a winter storm that dumped more than 10 inches of snow on the area.

Bentleyville announced on Facebook that it sustained "significant damage" in the storm between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning, and it continues to be impacted by "wind gusts reaching 45 mph" on Wednesday afternoon.

Images in the post show lighting displays that have been knocked over or bent and a lamp post snapped in half.

"For the safety of our guests, volunteers, and staff, the site will remain closed while crews work to assess and repair the impacted areas," Bentleyville wrote.

Bentleyville opened for the season last Saturday and hopes to be back again on Thursday for Thanksgiving.
