A custodian at Cooper High School in New Hope is accused of peering over a bathroom stall that was occupied by a female student.
John Ezekiel Brown, 51, was charged last month via summons with felony interference with the privacy of a minor. He is not currently in custody, with an initial court appearance scheduled for Dec. 16.
New Hope officers were called to the school on Oct. 28 after a 15-year-old student reported that a custodian was spying on her in the bathroom, according to a criminal complaint.
The student told police that she was at school for an after-school activity and went to a bathroom on the second floor. She said she had to wait while Brown finished cleaning the bathroom, then went in to use it after he said he was done.
The student said Brown followed her into the bat
