A man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison in connection with a deadly shooting in Hartford, according to the Division of Criminal Justice.

Randolph Paidama, 28, was shot and killed in Hartford's North End on Aug. 20, 2018.

Police responded to Garden Street around 2 a.m. and found Paidama suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a parking lot. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

Vincent Jonathan Etwaroo, 30, of Hartford, was found guilty of murder in April of this year.
