STROUDSBURG, Pa. — The crane and trucks are in position along Stroudsburg's Courthouse Square, ready to get the giant Christmas tree into place.
Checking each bulb one by one, staff from Dunkelberger's Tree Service and Stroudsburg Borough are working to trim the tree.
"It's really just a Hallmark style, beautiful time to be in downtown Stroudsburg," said Erik Diemer with Go Collaborative.
All of the decorating is leading up to the borough's annual Christmas tree lighting on black friday. Organizers say this year, they expect anywhere from 5 to 8 thousand people to help usher in the holiday season.
