KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - Two Rivers Public Health Department (TRPHD) is reporting that the deaths of the fourth and fifth community members in its seven-county district were due to complications related to COVID-19 during the 2025-26 respiratory season.
TRPHD continues to closely monitor all respiratory infections within the district, including influenza and RSV.
The individuals were residents of TRPHD’s seven-county district. In accordance with privacy standards and health information regulations, no further details about the individuals will be released.
The department says these losses serve as a reminder of the importance of taking precautions during the current respiratory season.
