LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Deceiving, chilly sunshine will be the case for another day Thursday for the holiday. Then we’re in for some much colder, winter-feeling days beyond that.
Temperatures will fall to around 20° as clouds thin out overnight and Thanksgiving morning.
Wind should not be much of an issue either, with high temperatures up around 40° once again by the afternoon.
Cloudy, gray days will start Friday into the weekend. It’ll be a chilly day around Lincoln for the rivalry game against Iowa.
Kickoff temperatures will be right around freezing.
Travels back for Iowa fans could get to be more dicey the longer fans stay in Nebraska and wait to head back, as our first winter system of the season ramps up Saturday.
A snow band will try to setup toward northeast Nebraska into Iowa
