CAMDEN, S.C. — A Camden woman was killed Wednesday afternoon following a collision on Highway 601, according to Kershaw County Coroner David West.

West said emergency dispatchers received a 911 call at 12:28 p.m. on November 26,, reporting a serious crash. Investigators say the victim, who was driving south on Hwy. 601, was struck on the side by another vehicle. The impact caused her car to overturn, ejecting her from the vehicle.

The driver, 40-year-old Miranda Lynn Rose of the Camden area, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Kershaw County Coroner’s Office.
