WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The Wichita Police Department asks for the public’s help as it investigates two reports of a man looking into windows “identified as belonging to rooms of young female children.”

Police said both incidents happened between 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 3500 block of South Gold Street, in south Wichita.

A resident reported seeing the suspected window peeper fleeing the area on foot. The suspect is described as being a white man with facial hair, standing about six feet tall with a medium build. The man was seen wearing a gray Carhartt jacket and work boots, police said.

Wichita police ask residents to call 911 to report any suspicious activity, people or vehicles. Anyone with information about the investigation on South Gold Street can call WPD Investigations
