SALINA, Kan. (KWCH) - Officers in Salina are looking for suspects in connection with a “jackpotting” theft at Bennington State Bank.
Salina police report that at 8 p.m. on Sunday, the suspect(s) entered the bank branch at 2130 S. Ohio St. and stole an unknown amount of money from the ATM. Then, the suspects went to the bank branch at 200 S. 9th St. at 1 a.m. where they stole an unknown amount of money from that ATM as well.
Officers were called to Bennington State Bank on Monday at 10:30 a.m. in response to these incidents.
After investigation, the Salina police report that the suspect vehicle was a white Lincoln passenger car with a Kansas tag. They determined that the tag was stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of S. Phillips Ave. sometime between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
