STROUDSBURG, Pa. — It's beginning to look a lot like the holiday season on Main Street in Stroudsburg, storefronts like Dunkleberger's Sports Outfitters are getting decorated to welcome customers in just a few days for Small Business Saturday.

"We always enjoy filling the store so our customers can come in and peruse, and they can buy in a great atmosphere with people they know, and it's not as chaotic as going to a big box store," said Tricia Fritz, Dunkelbergers.

Over at Pocono Soap on 7th Street, the shelves are stocked with gift sets, soaps, and candles. Preparations for the holiday shopping season start long before the calendar turns to November.
