ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Six people have been arrested after a man was found shot to death in Athens earlier this month, according police.
On Tuesday, 19-year-old Chedric Stroud was taken into custody, with 19-year-old Dermetris Allen and 18-year-old Christian Hull arrested the day before.
Before that, 23-year-old Samtavious Clark, 18-year-old Jeremiah Gresham and 18-year-old Dion Nesbitt were arrested, police said on Nov. 10.
The men face several charges, including murder, armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and criminal street gang counts.
The investigation began on Nov. 6, when police were called to the 100 block of Madison Avenue and found 22-year-old Antonio Jewell dead on the sidewalk.
