BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — GREEK POP STAR Konstantinos Argiros visited A. Fantis School in Brooklyn Heights last week ahead of a sold-out Barclays Center concert on Saturday, greeting students and viewing artwork inspired by his music.
Students performed pieces based on his song “Athina mou [My Athens],” linking themes of freedom, mythology, and Greek heritage to their own identities, according to the Orthodox Observer .
The visit culminated in a schoolwide sing-along that went viral, drawing praise from Greek media and community members impressed by the students’ pronunciation and fluency.
