Local officials and community partners gathered at the Austin HOPE Center for a beam raising ceremony, marking an important stage in the construction of the new health and wellness facility. The center, which is scheduled to open next summer, will provide pediatric and behavioral care to children in the Austin neighborhood. It is one of the first projects funded by Mayor Brandon Johnson’s $1.25 billion Housing and Economic Development (HED) Bond.
