1. Two Distinct Snow Storms to Impact Michigan

I’m tracking two separate storm systems. The first, already over the state, is a classic lake-effect snow event characterized by heavy, localized snow bands and falling temperatures. This storm is expected to primarily impact smaller, specific areas along the shorelines and in the “snowbelts.” On its heels is a second storm system, currently in the Pacific Northwest, which will arrive Saturday into Sunday.
