SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Swamp Daddy’s and Kubik Carpentry have teamed up for a third year of hosting Friendsgiving on Wednesday evening, an event that continues to grow each year.
“Last year we served over 350 meals, and this year we’re expecting over 500,” said Del’Inkka Beaudion, owner of Swamp Daddy’s.
Everyone in the community is invited to the event.
“This is a free meal where people can show up, no matter who you are, where you’re from, what your status is, financial, economic, housed, or unhoused. Anyone who shows up can get a free meal, and it’s a traditional Thanksgiving meal that we’re going to be serving. It doesn’t matter if you’re getting off from work or if you have 20 people in your family, bring everyone,” said Beaudion.
