BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Firefighters were called to a fire at a home on in Carmel yesterday.

It happened on Munson Way around 4 p.m.

When they got there, fire units found a two-story residence with smoke showing from the roof and chimney.

Firefighters quickly contained the fire to the living room of the residence where it began.

The Carmel Fire Department is reminding people to have their chimneys checked before they start burning for the winter.
