SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - As the sun sets, roads are already clogged, and we are expecting some less-than-ideal weather ahead.

Holiday travel can already be rough.

Add snow to the mix-and it’s even more of a headache and unfortunately, that’s what we can expect this week.

Wednesday, we’ve got some updates from the Indiana Department of Transportation and an Indiana state trooper to hear about the conditions of the roads.

AAA predicts 73 million travelers will hit the roads this Thanksgiving holiday and 2 million are from Indiana.

If you’re hopping on a flight, the FAA predicts this to be the busiest Thanksgiving in over a decade.

With the anticipated snow this holiday week INDOT has already started to treat the roads.
