FOXBOROUGH, Mass. —
Patriots offensive lineman Will Campbell has been placed on the injured reserve list after injuring his right knee during Sunday's game against the Bengals, sidelining him for at least the next four games.
The Patriots are dealing with injuries on both sides of the line, as defensive tackle Milton Williams is also on injured reserve. Campbell, the team's top draft pick, was carted off the field, and Vederian Lowe will take over at left tackle in his absence.
The team is optimistic about his return.
Center Garrett Bradbury said, "I have all the confidence in the world that he's going to crush the rehab process... several guys in our room will have good opportunities."
