The Toronto Blue Jays aren’t messing around as they prepare to get back to the World Series.
On Wednesday, multiple sources reported that the Blue Jays had signed one of the top pitchers available in free agency, Dylan Cease, to a massive seven-year deal.
The deal is reportedly worth $210 million per season.
Cease had spent the last two seasons with the San Diego Padres after playing the first five years of his MLB career with the Chicago White Sox.
The 29-year-old was runner-up for the Cy Young award back in 2022 and finished fourth in Cy Young voting back in 2024.
