OLDHAM COUNTY, Ky. —
Oldham County is getting ready to open the doors on a new era of justice in La Grange.
After years of planning and construction, we got an exclusive first look inside the county’s expanded courthouse complex built to honor its past while meeting the needs of a fast‑growing community.
“We’ve been at this project since 2018, believe it or not,” said Oldham County Judge Executive David Voegele, noting the effort has required multiple redesigns to align with public expectations.
Along the way, unforeseen hurdles slowed the timeline: moving the historic structure, the pandemic, and even a bankruptcy by the original woodworking company.
