Ryan Prather Jr. scored a career-high 25 points and Robert Morris men’s basketball led wire-to-wire while connecting on 15 3-pointers in its 88-74 victory against Illinois-Chicago on Wednesday at UPMC Events Center.
DeSean Goode recorded a season-high 17 points for the Colonials (4-3). Albert Vargas had season-highs with 13 points and eight assists.
RMU increased its lead to 53-29 at the 18:39 mark on Prather’s 3-pointer. The Colonials were able to maintain a double-digit lead the rest of the way, with the closest the Flames (4-3) would come being 12 points at the 13:09 mark.
Andy Johnson (18) and Rashund Washington Jr. (16) led UIC with a combined 34 points.
