HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The man accused of shooting a 39-year-old man in Kalihi was charged Wednesday with attempted murder.
Tanumafili “Tano” Fotu, 22, allegedly shot the victim Sunday at around 9:45 p.m. on N. King Street near the Dillingham Boulevard intersection.

Emergency Medical Services treated the victim for a gunshot wound to the upper torso.
Paramedics took him to the hospital in serious condition.
Fotu was charged Wednesday with second-degree attempted murder and two firearms offenses.
His bail is set at $1 million.
