Currently, the parking lot may be empty, but Eck is asking for fans to fill it by 1:30 p.m. on Friday. As a sign in Albuquerque states, "Albuquerque believes, [Lo]bos up," which is reflected in the 51% increase in fan attendance. Taniya Parrish, a UNM student, expressed confidence in the turnout, saying, "Yes, and most definitely, especially with our fans in New Mexico."
The Lobos are 8-3 for the first time since 1997, and a win against San Diego State could secure their spot in the champion
