DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - The Festival of Trees hosted its celebrity lunch with a spectacular turn out.

The 40 year old event welcomed local celebrities to wait tables and dress up for the holiday season.

People bought raffle tickets and enjoyed live entertainment and lunch.

“It’s just a great way to celebrate all of the hard work that the volunteers have put into building the Festival of Trees up to the way they have and it makes you very proud to be part of this community and part of such a great organization,” said Kim Guy, Chair of Festival of Trees celebrity lunch.

All proceeds from the luncheon will benefit Quad City Arts programs like the Visiting Artist Series that makes the performing arts accessible to the public and schools.
