TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - There’s no bigger motivator than losing, and making it to the Benz last December and not coming home with a win has been on the minds of the Brooks County football program since that loss to Bowden in the A Division II state title game.
The Trojans are now two wins away from making it back to the Benz, as they face undefeated Lincoln County Friday night in the third round of the playoffs. Win, and they’re in next week’s final four.
Lincoln County is a football team that puts up a lot of points, averaging over 40 a game, while they give up just a touchdown. The Trojans are battle tested. They played a tough non-region schedule to get to this point, now, it’s about playing their brand of football.
