American rocker Jackson Browne’s adult son, Ethan Browne, has died at age 52.
The Running on Empty hitmaker announced the news Wednesday on Facebook, revealing that Ethan was found “unresponsive in his home” Tuesday morning and died shortly thereafter.
“It is with deep sorrow that we share that on the morning of Nov. 25, 2025, Ethan Browne, the son of Jackson Browne and Phyllis Major, was found unresponsive in his home and has passed away,” Jackson, 77, shared.
“We ask for privacy and respect for the family during this difficult time. No further details are available at this moment.”
The Somebody’s Baby singer and the late Major, an actress and model, welcomed Ethan in 1973.
