ATLANTA — As No. 23 Georgia Tech prepares for battle on Friday afternoon against the rival No. 4 Georgia Bulldogs, the game will be played at a neutral site for the first time in more than 100 years.

That's because AMB Sports and Entertainment (AMBSE), the holding company for the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United owned by Arthur Blank, is paying Georgia Tech $10 million to move Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate to a neutral site.

The last time the game was played at a neutral site was in 1912, when the Bulldogs and Jackets played at Ponce de Leon Park in Atlanta.
