Ahead of Thanksgiving morning, the Mahoning Valley experienced a flurry of power outages on Wednesday night, according to FirstEnergy's My Town tracking.

In Canfield, near Neff Drive, there have been fewer than 20 outages reported, but the website notes that a FirstEnergy crew is on scene to investigate the cause of those who did lose power Wednesday evening.

Alliance also has fewer than 20 outages, but tree damage near Bonnieview Avenue has been reported to be the cause of those experiencing an outage.

Around 35 customers in North Jackson, near Prichard-Ohltown Road, are currently without power due to tree damage.

In Girard, near Keefer Road and Tomilu Drive, reports indicate around 100 customers without power. The current cause of the outages is unknown.
