CLEVELAND, Ohio — Federal prosecutors on Wednesday charged a Cleveland man who authorities say churned out fake pills at his home.

FBI agents found Ricardo Williams inside his home with some 1,500 counterfeit oxycodone and Xanax pills he planned to sell, according to prosecutors.

Williams was charged in U.S. District Court in Cleveland with possessing drugs with the intent to sell them.

U.S. District Magistrate Judge James Grimes ordered Williams to be held in custody until his bond is determined at a separate hearing set for Dec. 5.

Williams’ attorney at the hearing, Jeff Lazarus, declined comment.

FBI agents have been investigating Williams since June, according to court filings.
