Three people were killed in as many vehicle crashes on Arkansas roads from Saturday through Tuesday, according to preliminary police reports.

Around 1 a.m. on Saturday, Michael Woods, 51, of Mabelvale was killed when a utility vehicle overturned near Carthage, according to a report from the Dallas County sheriff's office.

Woods was a passenger in a 2018 Can-Am Defender heading north on Adair Road when the driver attempted to make a U-turn and the vehicle overturned, the report says. Both occupants were ejected, the report says.

The investigating officer said weather conditions were foggy at the time, but the road was dry.
