NAVASOTA, Texas (KBTX) - A wreck between a commercial vehicle hauling lawn service equipment and an 18-wheeler caused lanes of Highway 6 to shut down on Wednesday morning.
According to the city of Navasota, the driver of the lawn service trailer was driving northbound on Highway 6 near the FM 2154 exit when the driver suddenly braked. The driver of an 18-wheeler behind the trailer did not have time to stop and hit the lawn service trailer. This caused both the commercial vehicle and the lawn service trailer that it had in tow to flip.
Responding officials shut down parts of Highway 6 to clear the scene.
The passengers of the commercial vehicle were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and Highway 6 has reopened.
