LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

No. 6 Louisville went on an 8-0 run to open the game against NJIT at the KFC Yum! Center Wednesday night, and there was no looking back after that.

The Cardinals kept pouring on the points in the first half, too, taking a 52-20 lead at the half. At this point, Louisville was shooting 48% from three and 50% from the field.

Louisville slowed down some in the second half, but the Cards were able to come away with a 104-47 win.

Ryan Conwell had a huge night, scoring 32 points, making eight three-pointers and bringing down nine boards. Isaac McKneely was another problem for the Highlanders, shooting 5 of 10 from three and finishing with 17 points.
