SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Tuesday night’s Summit League Championship final didn’t go as planned for the South Dakota State Jackrabbits.

For the second year in a row, SDSU was on the losing side of the volleyball title game, losing to St. Thomas three sets to one.

But despite that, the Jackrabbits are looking forward. Head Coach Dan Georgalas said even though the team didn’t secure the automatic bid into the NCAA tournament, he’s confident they have a shot at an at-large bid.

He also said the team is looking forward to continuing the momentum they’ve built over the last couple of years, losing only one conference game in that time.

And if the Jacks make the tournament again this year, others should watch out.
