HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Honolulu Fire Department extinguished a house fire in Waianae Wednesday.
The fire was reported at around 6:24 p.m. on Kumaipo Street in Waianae.
HFD arrived on scene at 6:34 p.m. and found smoke coming from the back of a one-story home.
Crews secured a water supply and brought the fire under control four minutes later, and extinguished the blaze shortly after 7 p.m.
HFD said they searched the home to ensure no one was inside at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire and damage estimates to the home are still under investigation.
