A teenager had an 18th birthday he'll want to forget after his tracksuit bottoms fell down in the street when he was arrested.
Rhys William Marley was out with friends in Crook town centre on his birthday on November 10 when police arrived to find him shouting at another man who he'd reportedly called a "nonce", a court heard.
But as he was arrested after shouting and swearing and hurling insults towards the officer, his trousers dropped down in front of friends, leaving him embarrased, Peterlee Magistrates Court was told.
On Monday (November 24) the teenager admitted a single charge of causing harassment, alarm or distress by using threatening words and behaviour.
