An American woman living in the UK has opened up on how difficult it can be to host a Thanksgiving dinner this side of the Atlantic. Brittany, who has spent 12 years away from her native United States, took to TikTok where she revealed how she goes about the holiday living in Birmingham .

"Some of the ingredients were easy to find," she began in a video recorded in a supermarket. "There's everything you need for stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, mac and cheese and pecan pie - they're all readily available." However, it seems some traditional American fare is much harder to come by here .
