SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs stood no chance against a relentless Kelowna Rockets attack, falling 6-1 at home.
Spokane's Will McIsaac scored the opening goal less than six minutes into the game, but a pair of late Kelowna goals took the lead with 13.9 seconds remaining in the first period.
The Rockets would add two on per period until the game ended. The win pushes Kelowna into a tie for 4th place in the Western Conference and keeps Spokane in 7th place.
The Chiefs hit the road this Friday for a game at the Kamloops Blazers, puck drop at 7:00 p.m.
