Wardens working for Durham County Council have called anti-social behaviour from a large group of youths in Peterlee 'unacceptable' after witnessing litter being thrown, houses being targeted, and people climbing on the pavilion.
The council workers say that anti-social behaviour in the Oakerside, Peterlee, area is at such a level that it 'causes distress to the community'.
As part of their work, the wardens have encouraged members of the public to contact them if they witness any anti-social behaviour, which includes throwing litter, targeting nearby houses, and vandalism of items.
