Dear Good Job,
I have been at my current job for nearly four months now, and have noticed an unfortunate pattern. My boss and a co-worker both pride themselves on being inclusive, but the jokes they make really don’t reflect that. He uses “accents” around the workplace, and will talk with disdain about the “demographic” we serve. He and one of my co-workers make a lot of “I identify as…” jokes, which make me uncomfortable because they both know I’m transgender. They also seem preoccupied with the idea of being criticized for their jokes. Should I say something, or just keep my head down?
