Do you want to help brighten the holidays for area families? Following are ways you can help.

The fourth year of Operation Grizwold in Pequot Lakes has a goal to raise $10,000 to help 10 Pequot Lakes area families.

If more money comes in, organizers will help more families. This year, they expanded the footprint from eligible families with children having to live in the Pequot Lakes city limits to now encompass living within the Pequot Lakes School District boundaries.

"The main goal is to take care of our community," said Tyler Gardner, an Operation Grizwold founder.

Donors can drop money in a drop box at Pequot Lakes City Hall that's emptied daily; in an Operation Grizwold account at First National Bank; or mail checks made out to Operation Grizwold to Community Action of Pequot Lake
