WATERTOWN — The Watertown Library, located at 470 Main Street, will welcome Rachel Koladis for a workshop in making herbal heating pads from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 18.

Participants will fill precut and stitched fabric rectangles with rice, and a choice of dried herbs and essential oils. They will then stitch the 1-2 inch opening closed to seal the item.

In addition, participants will also make pincushions that look like little acorns. No sewing experience necessary. All materials will be provided.

Space is limited, and registration is required. To register for the program or for more information, contact the library at 860-945-5360 or email Reference@WatertownLibrary.org .
