BOARDMAN - A family of four escaped a house fire in Boardman early Thursday morning.

Multiple fire departments, including Boardman, Canfield and Poland all responded to a home on Montrose Avenue around 2:15 a.m. Thursday.

Crews on scene told 21 News everyone in the family was able to escape the fire without suffering any injuries. The Red Cross is stepping in to help them.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
