At least three individuals have been buried by an avalanche on a ski mountain in western Austria. The incident occurred around 9.30am in an off-piste area of the Stubai Glacier, located in Tyrol. Stephan Gröber, head of the Stubai Glacier lifts, confirmed that a significant rescue operation is currently underway. He stated, "Some partially buried people have already been rescued with minor injuries. The operation is continuing." Rescue teams are working diligently to locate those still trapped. Additional personnel are being dispatched to the Stubai Glacier from nearby Neustift and Sölden to assist in the efforts. In a collaborative effort, soldiers from the German Bundeswehr and Polish mountain rescue teams are also on-site, contributing to the search and rescue operations.
